Alerts in "Software asset overview" module in "Software Asset Workspace"

I need to define custom alerts/notifications to show in the activity center of  "Software asset overview" module in "Software Asset Workspace".  Can that be done? If yes, please guide me to the resources that will help me understand the process.

Hi Madhu

 

Mostly the alerts and notifications on the SAM workspace should suffice. Pls let us know what additional notifications are required, so we track that as an enhancement.

If you want to create custom alerts it will require custom modifications on files such as

  1. sys_ux_data_broker_transform - SAM Actvity Centre Transform

  2. sys_script_include-SamActivityCenterAlerts

  3. sys_script_include-SamActivityCenterNotifications

 

However please do remember that if you customise you wont get updates, unless you mark replace on upgrade and hence  this is not a recommended practise.

Thank you for the response. I was just wondering if it is possible to create custom alerts. I do not have any specific alerts in mind at this time.
