Can see multiple publisher to select from Publisher field in Software Model form

Hi All,
Having similar question, our developer already ran the Normalization guided setup. However, we can still see multiple values for Microsoft is Normalized and hence able to see all of these entries while selecting publisher in Software Model Form. Now, I know only which Microsoft do I need to select but others (client) get confused with multiple options for Microsoft and wanted to see the actual one only. How can we achieve this, pls help.

Similar case is applicable for all other publishers wherein multiple values are normalized and hence Normalization is True. Hence, multiple entries in Publisher reference field in Software Model. E.g. Adobe, Oracle, SAP, IBM, etc.

Hi @anandsaurabh47 ,

tbh, this is the first time I saw this - that software product names are managed in the publisher / core_company table. Looks like one of your integrations is putting data into the wrong destination tables.

could you please verify that

a) these records are part of the core_company table

b) what’s the source of these records?

Best, Dennis

Hi @dreinhardt
No, product names are not populating in Core_company table neither it is coming from this table. Some of the records mentioned in the image looks like a Microsoft product name, however these are stored as company name with slight variations in Core_company table and normalized as True. Hence, while selecting publisher from publisher attribute, we see these options to select from. And, I need to get rid of these values and wanted to select only the actual publishers.

Similar case is applicable for Adobe also.

Also, Integration is bringing the data into Discovery model table only.
