I am duplicating a field

I want to  have a duplicate field for an existing field.

I have a Customized table which is having certain fields, one of the fields on this table is Unit-ID
I want to have duplicate field of the Unit-ID.
How can I do this?

Will that not confuse users ? What is the usecase here?

If this is a temporary solution what you can do is create a field with a different name(Unit-ID2) and change the label of the field to Unit-ID
