Hi Community,
We have 2,000+ installs of Microsoft Visual Basic .NET in our environment and need help confirming the correct SAM treatment.
Is Visual Basic .NET licensable on its own, or should these installs be treated as non-licensable or part of any suite?
Any guidance or references would be appreciated.

Visual Basic .NET was previously a licensable product; however, it is no longer a licensable (paid) product from Microsoft. We have updated the product type, and once you download the latest Content released after February 6, 2026, your compliance report will be updated accordingly
