Hi,

As we know Procurement model under SAM Pro/HAM Pro, if somebody outside SAM/HAM wants to work on Source request catalog task, giving them procurement_user role charges customer for SAM/HAM license or will it be charged as different license?

Thanks!

Hi @MercBuilding ,

The procurement_user and procurement_manager roles are associated with the Hardware Asset Management application, which is licensed separately from Software Asset Management Pro. Assigning these roles to users does not incur additional charges under SAM Pro or HAM Pro licensing....Therefore, assigning the procurement_user or procurement_manager roles to users outside the SAM/HAM scope will not result in additional licensing costs under SAM Pro or HAM Pro.....

Hi @kaushal_snow ,

So how does this role will be charged then? Are they included within SAM and HAM? I didnt get what you are saying if it is free of charge if we have SAM/HAM or is it paid under separate module.

Thanks!

Hi @MercBuilding ,

Apologies for any confusion earlier......to clarify, the procurement_user and procurement_manager roles are part of the Procurement module in ServiceNow, which is licensed separately from both SAM Pro and HAM Pro. Assigning these roles to users will incur charges under the Procurement module licensing, not the SAM/HAM licenses....
