Hi Community,
The Microsoft Per Core license metric is no longer available in the License Metric lookup for our SQL Server entitlements. Only Per Core (with CAL) appears.
The predefined Per Core metric record still exists, but its Metric group is blank. Existing entitlements continue to display Per Core, while new SQL Server entitlements are receiving Per Core (with CAL), even though the Publisher Part Number definition specifies Per Core.
We found the fix script“Add Microsoft to the license metrics.” Has anyone run this script successfully? After running it, should we update the affected entitlements back to Per Core and rerun reconciliation?
Thanks.

Hi @pavan Punna ,
The Issue you are facing is expected for the servicenow instance for zurich or australia upgrade and the fix script you found works, follow the steps that resolves the issue.
If the SAM Pro Plugins is enabled in your instance
Step -1: Run the Fix Script "Add Microsoft to the license metrics" to restore the Microsoft Per Core Metric under the Microsoft metric group.
Step -2: Navigate to the entitlement records (alm_license) using the URL suffix below. This filtered list will show SQL Server entitlements where the publisher part number's license metric is Microsoft Per Core, but the entitlement's own license metric is not. For each record returned, update the license_metric field to Microsoft Per Core.
alm_license_list.do?sysparm_query=software_model.product%3D4b20dc060b3022002d6c650d37673a9e%5Epublisher_part_number.license_metric%3Def64c370534323005d74ddeeff7b1238%5Elicense_metric!%3Def64c370534323005d74ddeeff7b1238
Step -3: Re-run Reconciliation. The issue will be resolved.
Thanks,
