Moving the user or device allocation from the retired entitlement to the new entitlement.

I have an entitlement with some user allocations that will expire in a few days. I’ve received a new entitlement with the same metrics. How can I copy the allocations from the expiring entitlement to the new one?

Hi @dreinhardt,
Thanks for your help. I just wanted to clarify something: when I try to copy the allocation from the 'per user' entitlement to the 'per device' entitlement, the allocation is not displayed in the target entitlement but its copied, and the rights are reduced. How can I ensure that the allocation is copied only if both entitlements have the same license metric?

Hi @satheeshnkl,

the process should be limited to the same type of entitlement (user > user / device > device) - looks like a defect. Could you please raise a support case with ServiceNow to let them know about the issue. Please keep us posted.
