Hi all, I could use some brainstorming over an executive report I need to come up with, and can't quite figure out the detail to pull it.
I am needing to answer, What % of our Installs (sccm) do we have entitlements for.
From cmdb_sam_sw_install, I can get the detail grouped by Publisher, Title and Install Counts (as long as they are Normalized). From alm_license I can get Entitlements by Publisher, Title.
What I can't seem to do is pull it together into ONE executive slide, showing for example, X% of our Installs are covered by Entitlements, or if we consider all the Installs (grouped by Publisher/ Title) as 100%, what % of those do we have Entitlements for.
None of the Reconciliation reports seem to suffice, as I need more of a 'global' view vs Publisher View
I can probably pull this together as two separate queries and do the math manually, but a single report would be far better
Has anyone had to do this before, or have some ideas how to pull it off ?
