Hello All,
We are importing SaaS user subscription data from Excel into the Software Subscription table (samp_sw_subscription) using a custom Transform Map.
As part of the requirement, an integration profile will not be used. The solution must rely only on the Excel upload and Transform Map process.
We created a reclamation rule using background script with the following configuration:
- Applies to: Subscription Software
- Create reclamation candidate: True
- Subscription condition: Software model matches the imported subscription
- Last activity threshold: 60 days
The test subscription also meets the following conditions:
- User is resolved
- Software Model is populated
- Licensable Software Model is populated
- Unlicensed Subscription is false
- Last Activity is older than 60 days
However, no record is created in samp_sw_reclamation_candidate after executing SAM - Identifying New Reclamation Candidates.
The imported data currently exists only in samp_sw_subscription. Could you please clarify:
- Can manually imported Software Subscription records generate OOB reclamation candidates without an integration profile?
- Is a corresponding record in samp_sw_usage required for Subscription Software reclamation?
- Are additional fields or related records required, such as Subscription Profile, Discovered User, or Subscription Identifier?
- Is SAM - Identifying New Reclamation Candidates the correct scheduled job for Subscription Software rules?
- If an integration profile is not used, is there a supported OOB approach for generating reclamation candidates from records imported directly into samp_sw_subscription?
Thank you in advance for your guidance.
