Initially we are not planning to deploy software using CSD 1.0 or 2.0, but are interested in using it to remove/uninstall the software which I believe is functionality included with SAMPro.
Where I am not clear is how exactly it removes the software and what is needed. Most of the documentation I have read indicates it removes software that was deployed thru the tool (CSD and MECM or JAMF, but that is not the case here. For example is it possible to uninstall software that was manually installed by the user, maybe by using the uninstall string?

Hi @Dwight7 ,
From my point of view, it is not possible to revoke the software's that were installed manually by the user.
The software's which has been deployed using CSD can only be revoked.
Thank you.

Thanks for your reply, if this is the case I am really confused why CSD for removal comes with SAMPro but we need to pay additional to deploy it. Why include it if it can't be used without the deployment?
