Hi All,
One of my customers have multiple Salesforce instances (multiple instances and not single instance multiple Orgs) and the ask is to integrate all those instances with ServiceNow SAM Pro.
Is this possible ?
Regards,
Arun

Hi @Sylvain Barret1,
please review the latest docs shared with the Xanadu release, for each SaaS connection a new section about the minimum permissions was added.
- Integrating with Salesforce CRM (servicenow.com)
- Integrate Salesforce Marketing Cloud using OAuth 2.0 (servicenow.com)
It is not required to use DEX to get the user activity for Salesforce, the required details are covered by the provided SaaS integration (e.g., see Process/Permission - "Pull user activity").
Best, Dennis

Hi @arundpm,
Yes, it is possible to integrate multiple Salesforce instances with a single ServiceNow SAM Pro instance, however, while integrating data, you may consider the below things:
- Do you want one way or two-way sync?
- Do all Salesforce instances have the same fields?
- What access rights will your customer be willing to provide to enable this integration, especially if the Salesforce instance contains data from multiple vendors?
- How will you track which Salesforce instance provided the data?
- How will you ensure full audit tracking?
- Since multiple Salesforce instances are involved, what filter will you use to decide which ServiceNow entity goes to which Salesforce instance?
- If the same asset exists in multiple Salesforce instances, how will you ensure a unified view instead of duplicate records in ServiceNow?
OpsHub [a partner of Salesforce and ServiceNow] is an enterprise sync tool with best reliability and functionality to securely sync data in such environments. For more information refer to Salesforce and ServiceNow integration documentation and video.
Hope this helps!
