SAM pro with VMWARE Horizon VDIs

Our Customer is now implementing SAM Pro to manage virtual desktop using VMWare Horizon. They have some question:
- They use non-persistent VDI and the turnover is very high, they recreate VDI’s every days so they want to have “best practice” on this. In this way the numbers of Cis grows exponentially with a lot of Cis no more active into our CMDB. Customer doesn't see any rule to avoid to duplicate CI because when VDI switched off at the next restart comes with another identification.
- How can they handle this topic for SAM use cases? Any guidance on this is really appreciated.

I have a similar issue to address as well. Look forward to any insight that can be provided! I am considering either using the AD groups to auto allocate/reclaim entitlements or to create some custom integration between the VMware appvolume database and ServiceNow to do the same.
