SAM Scheduled Job Not Logging in samp_job_log Table for SAM - Software License Reconciliation

Hi Community,

 

I have a scheduled job under the SAM module that is supposed to populate entries in the samp_job_log table. However, for the SAM - Software License Reconciliation job, I noticed that it is not logging any information in this table.

 

Could you please help me understand:

 

Is this expected behavior for this specific job?

If not, what could be the possible reasons why the job is not writing to samp_job_log?

Are there any configurations or scripts I should check to ensure logging works correctly?

Hi @VANGARAM ,

this is correct, until now not all SAM jobs are updates with the required scripts to allow tracking as part of the samp_job_log.

 

The recon itself is tracked and monitored out of the Sam job log (Workspace - license usage - reconcile) and each result contains a lot of details.

 

You could a) adjust the scheduled job scripts by yourself or b) raise an idea portal post to get this fixed.
