Hi,
Would like to know what does "active rights" and "allocations available" actually mean in software entitlement. I already have the doc definitions available, but not exactly clear with the functionality/calculation.
How these are calculated?
What are the chances of rights owned to be same as active rights?
Regards,
Anu

Active rights are the purchased rights that are active in that entitlement; the state of being "Active" is based on the dates of service (Start Date/End Date) starting no later than today's date and ending no earlier than today's date as well as the state not being "Retired".
Allocations available is the number of active rights that are not already allocated (a right is allocated when a record exists in User Allocations or Device Allocations that targets that Entitlement record).
Purchased rights and active rights will be the same as long as the entitlement is active.
