We have a SecOps subscription for VR module where licenses are tracked based on device count. We have also got table subscription under this scope - 5 tables.
Now we are planning to use these tables for managing the risk registers, risk acceptance and approvals attached to these records. Since we already have the 5 tables creation under the SecOps subscription. Is extending these custom tables which we are going to create with approvals will attract additional licensing cost?

Hi,
An extended table is still a table from a licensing perspective. A basic rule of thumb is that if a person can use a table to derive business value, that table most definitely falls into a licensed table.
Please look at the link above for a deeper dive into table licensing. Some tables can be extended without impacting your licensing.
The person who can clarify your licensing question is your sales rep.

Hello @Khanna Ji
If you extend a custom table, that counts as another table. (and attracts licensing)
Please reach out to your account executive or sales executive of ServiceNow as this is related to licensing.
Please mask the answer as helpful and correct if helped.
Kind Regards,
Ravi

But with every subscription purchase ServiceNow allocates some custom tables. If we cannot use them with our own business logic to support the purchases applicaton like VR then buying those extra custom tables are of no use.
