When running a scan getting the below error message. How to get away from this?
Error: No scan options profile defined. Provide a scan options profile in the Qualys configuration
Steps to replicate
1) Go to Vulnerability - Vulnerability Scanning - Scans
2) Create a new record here: - Select scanner and add IP address
3) Click Initiate Scan. You will get the error message in the Status message field.

You can enter the options profile in instance parameter, you can contact your qualys admin to get this value. For scanner appliance, you can leave this as blank in instance parameter, i don't think this is mandatory, but make sure you have enabled the scanner appliance scheduled job and you have scanner appliances loaded in scanner appliance table.

This error is related to the Scanning configuration settings. It can be resolved by navigating to Qualys Vulnerability Integration -> Administration -> Vulnerability Configuration and populating the 'Scan Options Profile' field under the Scanning tab.
You will want to mirror the name of the standard profile used in your Qualys portal.

I am unable to see last step in this thread
Qualys Vulnerability Integration -> Administration -> Vulnerability Configuration.
Thing is I am unable to enter the default scanner appliance in my instance. I did not get any UI /Option to enter it.
I have attached a screenshot of Error Message I am getting but if I got to integration configuration then it directs me to go to the Setup Assistant---> Scanner Configuration. Here I am unable to find any option asking for Scanner Appliance/Option profile.
Please help me out. I am stuck on this for past 2 weeks.

I have activated the scanner automatically created in my instance. It was initially inactive and Default was set to "False". After enabling the scanner and making it default, I cant find the related link labelled as "Scan for Vulnerabilities.". I have activated the Qualys Plugin and have imported the KB of Qualys.
PFA screenshot of same. I am getting option labelled as "Re-scan vulnerable items".
