When running a scan getting the below error message. How to get away from this?
Error: No scan options profile defined. Provide a scan options profile in the Qualys configuration
Steps to replicate
1) Go to Vulnerability - Vulnerability Scanning - Scans
2) Create a new record here: - Select scanner and add IP address
3) Click Initiate Scan. You will get the error message in the Status message field.

You can enter the options profile in instance parameter, you can contact your qualys admin to get this value. For scanner appliance, you can leave this as blank in instance parameter, i don't think this is mandatory, but make sure you have enabled the scanner appliance scheduled job and you have scanner appliances loaded in scanner appliance table.

I am facing the same issue. What will be values of Options profile and Scanner Appliance? I am unable to see any UI where I can enter Options Profile but Only Integration Instance Parameters has that field.
I am not able to figure out what value to enter in Options profile?

Hi Vignesh,
I have added the scan_options_profile as provided by Qualys admin, but still face the same error when initiating scan from SN. Appliances are already loaded in the scanner appliance table.
Do we need to do any other configuration besides this ?
