Grouping of VITs via Exception rules

Hello community, 

Can a VIT be grouped in two Remediation Tasks While applying exception rule on existing data ? (one RT created by remediation task rule and the 2nd by exception rule)

Is there a way to deal with this kind of case ?

A VIT can be in multiple remediation tasks, but when an exception rule applies I would think the VIT would follow the exception rule and be state = Deferred. It may be worth testing in a sub-prod instance to understand the functionality.
