Hello All,
I have a situation where on the Vulnerable Item Detections, the CI does not match the detection DNS name and NetBIOS name. Anyone have an idea why this could be happening?
Example - CI is of class- Incomplete IP Identified Device and on the Vulnerable Item Detections- has a DNS name and NetBIOS name.
TIA.

Hi,
Please check Discovered item and see how it got matched to that CI. There is a possibility that when it was first reported to Servicenow we just got IP address and an incomplete IP is created and later with detections you got some more attributes.
Thanks,
Shivam

You can open the discovered item associated with the VIT and rerun the CI matching rule from the list action.
