Hi All,
I am trying to set up the connection between Major Security Incident and Microsoft Sharepoint by following the attached Quick Start Guide but got stuck in one step (Page 6, Step 1 of 4.1). It mentions the below:
You can either use a self-signed certificate or CA issued certificate. You can create a self-signed certificate by executing the PowerShell script as outlined in Setting up an Azure AD app for app-only access. The script generates two files: .PFX file and .CER file.
Issue: With the help of Azure admin, while generating the CA-issued certificate, neither we nor the Azure admin can figure out the type of CA Certificate required.
Can you please help with the CA certificate type required for the setup?
Also, I will be happy to know if there are any other methods to connect MSIM with Microsoft Sharepoint other than the steps mentioned in the attached setup guide.
Regards,
Maloy Banerjee

Hi @Maloy Banerjee1 ,
CA certificates are issued and signed by a trusted certificate authority (CA) for use. In the absence of CA certificate, your azure admin can create self signed certificate by following the Microsoft document steps. Link to the Microsoft document is already mentioned in the quick start guide. But Azure admin can not actually create CA certificate as far as I know.
So are you facing any challenges following the Microsoft document steps as it is, while creating self signed certificate?
Can you add more details?
