Hi.

 

I have a question about "Populate Internet Facing attribute on Hardware".

The value of the "Internet Facing" field in the Hardware table is updated by the "Populate Internet Facing attribute on Hardware" in the sysauto_script table.
The execution timing is set to on-demand,  what is the trigger?

Hi,

This scheduled script is an example of how to set the internet facing attribute based on discovered data. It can be used, but isn't strictly intended to be used directly as it may not be reliable depending on your organisation setup.

 

Often this data is collected from a network management tool that your platform or network team manage.
