Still having issues with Remediation Tasks

Hi

I'm still having issues with Remediation Task and when they run. We bundle up Remediation Tasks based on vulnerability name and assignment group being populated. If we run our remediation task rule it tears everything down and rebuilds all the Remediation Tasks and empties the ungrouped table. However if new VIT's then get created and they get an assignment group they just continue to sit in ungrouped. They are marked as open and satisfy the conditions to be added to a Remediation Task but they just sit there. We can force the Remediation Task rule to run again but that will just tear everything down again - which can take up to 48 hours on our platform. I have read through this forum and I cannot see why they sit in ungrouped.

I even tried to add a filter to the Remediation Task rule to only work on VIT's where "In Remediation Task" in set to false but that has no affect and the all the Remediation Tasks are torn down again.

Hey @John Gregory ,

I remember your last post, seems as if the issue has not been solved.

Maybe you can share the Remediation Task Rule Setup (Screenshot or similar), that would potentially give some more information.

Otherwise would recommend, as this topic seems to have greater impact, to open up a support case: https://support.servicenow.com .

They should be able to better help you with your query if the problem can not be solved differently.
