What is ServiceNow vault? how its different from other encryption solutions from ServiceNow like Edge Encryption, Column Level Encryption, Enterprise (CLE/PE), Database Encryption, Full Disk Encryption?

Is Vault the latest and updated solution and replacement of all other solutions?

In which scenario, which product to choose?

ServiceNow Vault product set of data security tools that protect sensitive information from unauthorized access, corruption, or theft throughout its entire life cycle. Apply protections like encryption, secrets management, and data privacy for the redaction and auditing of sensitive information. 

It is not different than any encryption solutions from ServiceNow like Edge Encryption, Column Level Encryption, Enterprise (CLE/PE), Database Encryption, Full Disk Encryption, it's part of it.

As ServiceNow Vault is a umbrella which has many other products under it like:

1. Encryption

2. Secrets Management

3.Code Signing

4. Data Privacy

5. Data Discovery

6. Zero Trust Access

7.Logs

Hi @SANDEEP DUTTA - Vault, and specifically Platform Encryption, is separate from Edge Encryption, Database Encryption, and Full Disk Encryption. I explained in more detail in my post above. Thanks.

Yes, correct, as Edge Encryption, Database Encryption, and Full Disk Encryption is out of scope from Vault.

But there is no official document which says Edge Encryption and Database Encryption will be deprecated or end of life as Platform encryption will manage everything.
