Use case of "Approver User" product in Subscription management

We have a active product with the name "Approver user" in subscription management and we have around 3000 license for this but none is allocated to any user. FYI we already have all approvals set up in the system without assigning this license/product to any user or group . (Image attached for reference).

I wanted to know what is the use case of "Approver User" product.?

When is it used ?

Where is it beneficial?

Who are the users base?

Why is it used?

How to to check usage?

Contact your ServiceNow account rep. It shows that there are no roles associated with the license, so this doesn't really make sense, but we don't know your contract. Subscriptions are very hard to say anything about, because of how they are sold. This could either be a very old model you are still taking benefits from, or a very new one.

Hello @Akshaykhare ,

The allocation is based on the number of users who have the approver_user role. Have you assigned this role to all users who shall be able to approve something in ServiceNow?

Regards,

Robert

@Robert H we have around 19 users who have this role but in subscription management the allocation count is 0. Also apart from these users we have other approvers who do not have this role but still can perform approval activities.

Hello @Akshaykhare ,

Can you please go to the "Associated roles" that that is shown in your screen shot and check if "approval_user" or other roles are linked there?

Regards,

Robert
