just upgraded to Washington DC release in our dev instance and I am looking to add to an update set a new Flow Design in the new Worflow Studio, however that option is no longer available.
In previous releases, I would just check the box next to the flow and then on the Options menu, I would click "Add to update set".
Now, that feature is not there.
Is there a new way of doing this that was NOT in the release notes??
Have some ready to go to an update set to move to Test and then move to Prod so I would appreciate a response/solution...
Thanks!

Hi there,
When you develop a Flow, it will already automatically be saved in an update set.

Seriously - who's bright idea was that!
We work on numerous types of operations in our Dev environment and until it is totally tested and ready to move up to our Test environment, we don't add it to an update set. Once is ready to move, then we create an Update set for that item and include all objects related to that item and that item only.
Plus, there are also numerous times we are just making modifications to a workflow or flow design - not a catalog item or other item that does not have a workflow or flow design. Before the upgrade to this release, all we had to do was create the update set, make it default, then open the Flow Designer, click on the box next to the name and then in Options, "add to update set".
So if you are stating that now as soon as we make any type of change in anything and hit save/update, those changes get added to a random default update set and we have no way to add it to another one as we did before except to scan through a random update set and then manually move it to the New, Specific update set???
Surely there is another way to do this. The "automated" option is just causing more work hours to manage and work...

Also in previous release it was just saved in an Update Set, so nothing new there. It sounds just how your companies process on this is what is a bit in the way.
Anyway, regarding the "Add to update set". Sounds like a custom UI Action (I don't see it at a customer on Vancouver), which was visible on the list view. Similar like the custom "Force to update set". That list view is now different with Washingtons Workflow Studio. I haven't looked into if that can be solved.

Perhaps you can move the Customer Update to the Update Set you are after, bit of a workaround to fit your way of working 🤔
