I dont have any exprience of Servicenow. I am working in IT for more then 8 years in Mainly support . have little bit of exposure to programming as well. Is it a good idea to come to Servicenow and make it a career. How is the day to day life of an admin , is it hectic ? Any input will be appreciated.

Hi Faisal,
Not always easy to answer this type of question as it's a bit biased coming from someone already doing the job, and it all depends on what you want to do.
For me I would say yes it is a career move to make, especially based on the size of the customers that SN have, I get offers daily of jobs for Administration, implementation, configuration and bespoke application development.
Day to day it depends on what role you cover, personally I cover Admin, Config, Architecture, Development, Testing, BAU, Support (quite a bit) so it is very hectic, however some companies will have specific users for specific roles so you are concentrating on one aspect. I like the varied job of doing everything though so I don't mind it.
I would suggest signing up to the Developer site and requesting an instance that you can go in and take a look at, you can play around and even try developing some stuff to see if it fits what you want to do. ServiceNow Developers and there is a whole host of information in the documentation Product Documentation | ServiceNow that can help show and guide you through stuff.
All the best!
