Can I place a record producer into an order guide?

I have an order guide where which has several options for catalog items, however one section needs to create a record producer for our IT department.   I need to know it is possible to have a record producer inserted int the order guide and if so how to accomplish this. Thank you .

Although I am not quite certain about the impact, you can set the Reference Qual = blank (i.e remove the oob condition javascript: restrictCatItemsForGuides()) in the dictionary of 'Include this item'; will allow you to select the Record Producers:

You can change add a record producer to an order guide by removing "sc_cat_producer" value from the system property "glide.sc.item.order_guide_exclusion".
