Team,
I have noticed some staleness numbers on Health Dashboard. And they are all VMWare virtual Machine Instances which are either with State = Off or Terminated. Now I want to exclude these VMs from the equation for counting for Staleness. (Snaps attached)
Can I achieve by adding Health Inclusion rule as below?
Under CI Class Manager ==> Health ==> Health Inclusion Rules (Snap attached)
Please advise, if this is correct way, and if not what is the right steps?
Thanks.

Hi Sunny,
You cannot add that in the list view, only you can amend the condition in the list view.
Go to Class manager > add your inclusion rule from global scope.
Once done you should be able to see a record in the - cmdb_health_config
Then if you want to amend the condition you can do so from this table.
Thanks

Hi Sunny,
Yes, that is the right way, you can add an inclusion rule, and add a condition to include only the CI which you want to consider for Staleness.
This table - cmdb_health_config will contain the list of inclusions you have configured for different metrics.
Try running the query in list view first before saving the inclusion rule, if the list view doesn't return any data then CMDB Job wont collect any data, we had a minor mistake with the inclusion rule recently.
Thanks

Thanks Murali for your quick response.
Please see the screen shots below. Currently I don't have any records for cmdb_helath_config table.
So when I create new one (snap attached), the metric field is grayed out. (even though I am admin)
Would that be still ok to add new record here to verify in list view?
Please advise.
Thanks.
