Content item is not directly redirecting from portal.

Hello, 

 

Currently if any user search for any content item in portal from main page search Bar it showing item name, once click on that item it's not taking to URL instead it is taking to another page like catalog item and there it is showing link to click.

If i open same content item by following taxonomy topic it is behaving correctly.

 

Can anyone help, where we need to modify to make this behavior back OOB like after search if user click on item name it should take to URL directly .

Hi @GaddamP ,

Please try the solution below.

So this Change Password is actually coming from a Catalog Item Present in the system.

So check the Steps below ...
1 . Go to Filter Navigator Service Catalog > Catalog Definitions > Maintain Items
2. Search for Change Password Catalog item.
   

 

 

3. Open that catalog and search for the URL field.

4. Check the URL value and update it accordingly ( for example : /$pwd_change.do)
