formating of comments and worknotes in incident

Hello,

Is there a possibility to change the formatting of the "Comments and Work notes" in the incident form and in the notification mails ? For example we would like the mark a difference between "additional comments" and "work notes", perhaps by changing the font of "additional comment/work note" or by changing the underground color.

Hi Jean-Luc,

I have an idea, but first, I need you to check something.

Check the field type on the comments field. Go to the dictionary for task and check comments.

See if it says Journal or Journal Input.

When I do what you suggested, there is no such field.

If I go in "Configure > Table" then   there is the column "Comments and Work notes" that has the type "Journal list". I think this is the OOB functionality.

Thank you for the update. Try this... Update your form layout to use the separate fields for additional comments (comments) and work notes (work_notes) as shown. Include these with the Activities formatter.

This should produce output similar to the following, making it much easier to visualize the comments from the work notes.

Thanks for your suggestion. Here is the layout of my form. It is OOB except the adding of "Comments and Work notes"

We wish to have is two parts :

Part 1 : with the comments and the work notes. In this part we find the more important information

Part 2 : with all the activities.In this part we find the complete information

The part 2 is perfect. i.e. we find the information we need and with a superb formatting

The part 1 contain the information we need but the format should be more readable.
