How to set up dynamic translation using ServiceNow as Translator Service

Hello Experts,

 

I need to if Dynamic translation can be enabled and configured using ServiceNow As a Translation Service. 

What are the steps to configure this set up

With above approach do I need to install any additional spoke or configure a flow?

 

Your help would be greatly appreciated

Hi @Kamini07 

The best place to start is in 'Now Create' — there's a deck available that covers language and translation. Follow that, and your work should be on track. Also, just a quick update: in PDI, translation doesn't fully work, as the provided Microsoft/ServiceNow support isn't complete.

Hi @Kamini07 ,

Below are the steps I have followed to use Servicenow as translator:

 

  • Install the Plugin "Dynamic Translation" which will include ServiceNow’s own translation engine.

  • Turn On Dynamic Translation

  • Add the Translation Provider use default: ServiceNow Translation Service

  • Set the Language Pairs

    • Go to System Translation > Language Pairs

    • Example: English → French, Hindi → English

    • Select ServiceNow as the provider for each pair
