Issue with Export/Import Functionality in Decision Table – Column Order Mismatch and Values Not Upda

Hi everyone,

I’m experiencing an issue with the Decision Table export/import functionality in ServiceNow.

When I export a Decision Table to Excel (XLSX format), the columns appear in a different order than they are in the actual table. After editing the exported file and attempting to re-import it, the values are either not updated correctly or completely ignored.

We tested this with simple data to rule out formatting issues, but the behavior persists. It seems like there is a mismatch between the exported column structure and what the import expects, causing the update to fail silently or improperly.

Has anyone else faced this issue? Is there a known workaround or fix for this behavior?
