Reporting at Knowledge Articles, results in inconsistent numbers

Hello there,

I want to report at knowledge article versions and their view count. I've made three different reports to to determine the most reliable reporting method, but they all seem equally unreliable.

Report 1:
- At table "kn_knowledge"
- Filters at number = KB0010976, workflow = Published OR Outdated (I want to report only at currently available articles and in the past available articles, no Draft articles, etc.)
- Type = Bar report
- Group by = Version
- Aggregation = Sum > View Count
- Percentage calculation = Use Record Count
- Sorting Order = View Count Z to A

The reported View Count for my latest and published version (v64.0) is 82. This View Count is also reported at the article itself and seems correct. But all other former article versions have no View Count (= zero / 0) or, when I consult an already outdated article, the view count of that article increases by 1, but also at some other (not all) articles.

This seems to be the most reliable report despite the above issue. Still it would be nice to be able to explain or fix this.

Report 2:
- At table "kb_version"
- Filters at number = KB0010976, workflow = Published OR Outdated (I want to report only at currently available articles and in the past available articles, no Draft articles, etc.)
- Type = Bar report
- Group by = Knowledge * Version
- Aggregation = Sum > Knowledge * View Count
- Percentage calculation = Use Record Count
- Sorting Order = None ("Knowledge *  View Count" seems not available)

The problem with this report is that it reports too high numbers. The reported View Count for my latest and published version (v64.0) is 174. This View Count is NOT reported at the article itself. There it's 88. This is also the case with other (meanwhile outdated versions):
-> v63.0 report = 62, article = 32
-> v62.0 report = 17, article = 32
-> v51.0 report = 16, article = 30
Etc.
The difference between reported view counts and reality seems to high and thereby it's no reliable report.

Report 3:
- At table "kb_use"
- Filters at number = KB0010976, workflow = Published OR Outdated (I want to report only at currently available articles and in the past available articles, no Draft articles, etc.)
- Type = Bar report
- Group by = Article
- Aggregation = Sum > Times Viewed
- Percentage calculation = Use Record Count
- Sorting Order = None ("Times Viewed" and "Viewed" available, but does not work, results in the next error; "WARNING: Invalid order by field "times_viewed": You can only order by the "Group By" field and/or the "Stacked" field")

This report has the same problem as report 2: reports too high numbers.
-> v36.0 report = 162 article = 4
-> v35.0 report = 148, article = 4
-> v12.0 report = 161, article = 1
Etc.

What is the cause of this inconsistency and is it possible to fix it? Is the cause for the difference we see in report 2 and 3, this Knowledge Properties setting for here below?

Any replies/feedback, I would appreciate a lot! Thanks in advance!
