Hello Experts,
WSD Reservable Module has a dropdown 'Reservable Type' wtih 2 options: Location and Configuration Item (inactive by default). Is it possible to use Reservable Module to configure reservations for CI's such as cmdb_ci_vehicle? Has anyone used Reservable Module for this purpose? Or is this strictly for locations?
Thank You!

Hello,
That's exacly what it is for. Under "Reservable Table" you will then be able add the table with the records you want to have available for reservation.

Hello Fabian,
Thank you for the response. I have been attempting to configure this using the CI table but have not been successful. The Reservable Module recognizes the CIs I’ve set up but they don’t appear in the ‘Make a Reservation’ portal. I have linked their location to the Workplace location in the module but no luck. Is there some other configuration I am missing? Or any product documentation specific to using the Reservable Module for CIs?
Thanks again
Lisa

Hello Lisa,
I dug through the ServiceNow documentation and i honestly don't know. Based on the reservation flow shown in the documentation here i am pretty sure, that any items must be linked to floors/spaces. That said, i would assume, that the selection of a CI is indeed possible, however - just as you described - i did not manage to get it to work.
Based on the documentation here i the reservation-type is only used as a grouping criteria and not as a functional behaviour.
In short, i can only come to the conclusion, that i was wrong with my original statement. I am sorry for that. It seems as if CIs won't work with the reservation module.
Regards
Fabian
