Set currency as INR in transform map (for cost field)

Hello experts!

I want to set the cost in INR currency for the assets I am importing from excel via transform map.

Target table - alm_hardware

Field - Cost

Field type - Currency

The default currency for our instance is Dollars. I don't want to change that. After I import the assets, the cost field should show value as Rs 1000 .

Ok so that means after importing the asset cost should show INR 1000?

Right, the currency field should show Rs and Cost as 1000.

I am able to set the Cost value but not the currency.

After importing the asset you will have to create transform map for "fx_currency_instance" table also.

Create excel and update as below column

Make ID as coalesce true

By default the value would be shown based on the User preference or profile country.

Example: if user has country as US then it would show Dollar; if user has country as Europe etc then it would show that currency
