I am utilizing a record producer to create an HR record on the HR table. The record producer contains numerous variable sets that the user fills out. After submitting the form, the variables that the user filled out are not visible on the HR record. I see that there is the Variable Editor on the catalog task form but I don't see it being available on the HR form.
Does anyone know how to show the variables from the form on the HR record?

Hey Quan,
Go to Formatters in the System UI section of the left-hand nav. Find "Change Variable Editor" or "Incident Variable Editor" and click into one. Change the table to the HR table and then insert.
You should now be able to see the variable editor as a form layout option for the HR table.

Hi Miriam, I'm not sure if creating a new macro for hr_task will solve this because I'm not a macro expert either. I tried to do that but no success. So I had to create(replicate) all the variables into the hr_task and cascaded the values via workflow. To make it a bit easier in terms if hiding and displaying the variables (if you have several HR catalog items), I created sections for each item in hr_task form and manipulate the sections visibility instead of creating UI Policies for each variables.
SN should have the capability to display variables on task level (other than sc_task) long ago...:(

Hi Quanha,
I'm able to see the variables on the HR form.
However, when I'm trying to pull a report, I'm unable to see the variables.
Any inputs, please?
Thanks in advance,
Kaushik
