Automated testing for Service Operations Workspace

Is there any automated testing available or planned for Service Operations Workspace? This would help speed up and reduce time taken for testing ServiceNow releases, patches and module updates. With the move toward the Workspace I am hoping the ATF is going to be extended to include workspaces or an alternative is being developed, and wondered if there are any timescales.

By default, ServiceNow provide 2 tests for SOW.

ServiceNow ATF has some limitations when it comes to Configurable workspace.

Hopefully they add new steps for handling the Workspace.
