Intermittent disappearing text on Service Operations Workspace

Hi all-

 

Question...we are having an intermittent issue that I'm wondering if anyone else has seen/experienced:

  1. User is in a tab with an active Incident
  2. User makes updates to the data in the record (field text/work notes/etc.) and does not save the record
  3. User uses the global search to open a record in a new SOW tab
  4. User navigates back to the first tab with the unsaved data
  5. Unsaved data has disappeared

We just recently updated SOW to version 6.1.0. Any assistance or acknowledgement of this issue from others would be appreciated. Thanks!

I just followed your steps and on my instance, the information is still there.

However, I am on Yokohama RTP with SOW 6.1.3, so it could be because of the version difference and that they fixed this.

I'm experiencing the same issue with some of our users. We've recently upgraded our instance to Yokohama Patch 04, with ITSM version 7.1.0 and Service Operations Workspace version 26.3.0. Has anyone found a resolution for this?

We have a similar issue. Ours is with the work note (compose box). Our Service Desk agents will write a note, then open another window or tab. When they return to the work note, all the text has been cleared (deleted). The workaround we use is to write the note in Word or Notepad, then copy and paste it into ServiceNow. We are on version 7.1.4."
