ServiceOperation workspace adding new and modifying the donout in the overview dashboard as requied

Hi all,

 

I need to modify the Service Operation workspace dashboard  configurations (like adding new donut, change the existing data visualisation),trying to edit the dashboard directly did not help, can you any one help with step  by step process as per   Zurich or Yokhama.

Hi Buddy,

In Service Operations Workspace (Zurich / Yokohama), the dashboards you see are not classic UI dashboards, which is why editing them directly doesn’t work.

Basically to modify them add a new donut, change an existing visualization, you need to use Platform Analytics / Next Experience tooling.

I would take these steps:

  1. Open Service Operations Workspace and go to the page where the dashboard appears.

  2. Use the Dashboard icon → Edit from within SOW (this opens the correct editor).
    If you don’t see Edit, the dashboard is OOTB and read-only.

  3. Create or modify the donut under Platform Analytics → Data Visualizations (Donut chart).

  4. Add that visualization to the SOW dashboard from the editor and save.

If the OOTB dashboard is locked try:

  • Create your own dashboard

  • Replace the OOTB one via UI Builder (page / variant configuration) so SOW points to your custom dashboard instead.

Basically: SOW dashboards are driven by Platform Analytics plus UI Builder, not classic dashboards. Once you edit them through the correct editor or replace them via UI Builder changes will reflect properly.
