Can we inactivate OOB Page variant in UI Builder

Hi folk,

I have a requirement to hide a page variant as per role/group i am unable to add audience in the OOB, so i duplicated it, now i want to inactivate OOB, any idea/thoughts.

Hi @BSP1 ,

I dont think deactivation is possible, have you tried unchecking Set as default variant checkbox and removing audiences.

Hi @BSP1 ,

Yes, you can make it inactive using the Settings tab. Alternatively, you can remove all audiences and assign a higher order to this variate compared to the duplicate ones. This way, it won’t be displayed.

Once you make inactive it will show as below:

I don't think you can edit the OOTB page variant.

You can duplicate that and then work on the new one.
