Hi Team,
We have a requirement wherein we have to replicate a catalog item in the same name for the customer. The new catalog item would be a refined one and the old one would be set to inactive. Both the catalog items have exactly the same name. The configuration of the item is complete. However, the catalog item does not come up in portal search. I have checked for the following points:
1. Visible elsewhere is set to true
2. Hide on Service Portal is set to false
3. No search is set to false
4. Compared the old and the new catalog items, configuration is exactly same
5. Defined meta for the new item. When searching in the portal based on the meta, the old catalog item comes up but the new one doesn't show up. If I set the old one to Active false, no related item would show up.
This is happening for the other new items too.
Any help is much appreciated.
Thanks.

In my case the AI Search Application was set on "Service Portal Default Search Application".
I solved it after creating "ESC Portal Default Search Application"
Service Portals > Portals > Employee Center [sp_portal]
sys_search_context_config.do
