Hi Everyone,
can somebody explain to me the steps that need to be taken to become a certified ServiceNow trainer?
Over the last 4 years I have delivered a lot of (end)user training for my previous company KPN/getronics but now I would like to become certified in order to give my recently started company Improve Knowledge more body 🙂
kind regards,
Ben

You are already on the right track with talking to Faez Ahmed. I just recently completed my assessment to teach the System Admin course. My experience consisted of four parts. This was my experience and I am not a ServiceNow employee. You'll need to connect with Faez to confirm his expectations for attaining certification.
1) The organization I train through needed to be a ServiceNow Partner
2) I needed to be certified in the course I wanted to teach. I was already a Certified System Administrator so I was good there.
3) I needed to be familiar with the course content. I shadowed another instructor for a course and taught one module
4) I needed to present (via WebEx) to Faez and get his approval.
Good luck!

Hi Chris,
thanks for your detailed description of the steps to take. My situation is however slightly different because I am not aiming to train the System Admin part but my focus is on users who start working with ServiceNow or are already working with it and need in-depth knowledge.
It is my strong believe that a training for these groups can add value if you plot it on their specific business processes.
There is no such option here in Holland an although I strongly agree with the "easyness" of the system from a user perspective but I still think that the available materials are not enough. Also based on my experience in the last 4 years where I worked for KPN during their implementation of ServiceNow.
However I'm about to take the exam for System Admin certification in the next 2 months and probably take it from there with Faez again.
kind regards,
Ben

I know this is an old post - hopefully having this here will help any who stumble upon it (please mark if it helps you!). In order to become an Authorized Training Partner, you need to review the following program guide which is available on the Partner Portal:
ServiceNow Authorized Training Partner Program Guide
Thanks,
Brad

Mike,
Do you know if this is still accurate? I see that it was created in March 2014.
Thank you,
Victoria
