Differences between Data privacy (classic) and Data privacy (Store app)

Hi all,

Currently I've been reseaching on Data privacy and I found that on Servicenow we have Data Privacy (Classic) and Data Privacy (Store App). It's quite confusing, so can anyone explain to me what is the differences between those two. and for further upgrage, does the Classic one will be supported by Servicenow? I'm using Utah (EA) release.

I was also  confused by this at first, but here is what I found out.

The Store app was introduced in Xanadu and is designed to introduce two new features one being Workspace compatibility the other being real-time anonymization techniques (prior to Xanadu real-time had to be coded using

SNC.DataPrivacyApi). These are not part of Data Privacy Classic, you still need to install both plugins.

• Discover and anonymize sensitive data as it's entered with the real-time anonymization policy.
• Anonymize and discover journal fields in Workspace UI and an increased data pattern regular expression limit of up to 1000 characters.
