Seems like the columns in my Embedded List shows different columns in Dev and Prod.
Don't know what/why/when this started but I think last week.
I tried to Configure --> List Layout and add correct columns, but changes does not stick.
I also committed form update from Dev to Prod but the columns in Prod remains.
I can personalize the view to show default columns, but I want this for all users so this is not a solution.
How it was OOB/Default on an Alert record (em_alert)
Prod that changed and now have other values:

@Henrik Jutterst
Yes this sudden changes are difficult to backtrack, i recommend to try the below check :
-
Check the Table Configuration: Ensure that the table used in the Embedded List has the same configuration in both the Dev and Prod environments. Verify the dictionary entries, field configurations, and related list settings to ensure consistency.
-
Compare List Layouts: In the Dev environment, go to the list layout configuration for the table and compare it with the Prod environment. Check if there are any differences in the columns configured for the Embedded List. Make any necessary adjustments to align the configurations.
-
Check Update Sets: If you have made changes to the Embedded List configuration in the Dev environment and want to apply those changes to Prod, ensure that the changes are captured in an update set. Validate that the update set has been successfully committed and applied in the Prod environment.
-
Clear Caches: In both the Dev and Prod environments, try clearing the server cache to ensure that any cached configurations are updated.
-
Review Customizations and Extensions: If there are any customizations or extensions specific to the Embedded List, review those in both environments. Ensure that any custom code, UI policies, or client scripts related to the Embedded List are properly configured and consistent.
I Hope this helps !!!

Hi @Sohail Khilji and thanks for the feedback to my post.
I've gone through the list and unfortunetly I don't see anything that's pointing to why Dev and Prod are different in this case. I'll keep looking and will post here once I find the reason.
Thank you so much for taking time and trying to help out here.
Wishing you all the best.
