How to connect ai search with external agent

I do have some doubts regarding integration and need to know what type ai search plugin looking , how to enable those plugin into my PDI . So my intention is to integrate my agent with ai search for better retrieval of knowledge base . So I heard ai search is helpful . Is it possible to integrate via rest api . And another doubt my agent is able to integrate via A2a protocol . If so can guide me.

AI / Gen AI / AI agent features are not available in PDI, so we cannot test them in PDI.

thanks for the information , suppose instance is other than pdi . so i need a better retrieval of the knowledge kb . i came to ai search is the one better . so my doubt is that can i be integrate this ai search through rest api for my purpose as i mentioned above . when i visited the platform this ai search is available different types . so i need to know which one i looking
