How to make Stories created by Catalog Item record producer visible on the Customer Portal

We have a catalog item that allows a customer portal user to enter data and subsequentially create a Story (rm_story).

How do we make Stories visible on the Customer Portal? 
Is there code to add to the 'My Tickets' widget to display stories and add comments?
Or, does an brand new widget needs to be created and added to Portal pages

You can add a widget of simple list with filters of your choice and add it to your portal
It is better than changing the OOTB My ticket widget and less to worry about.
