Is there a way to remove the option for "CMDB Workspace" in the banner? Currently testing the new San Diego release in sub-prod instances and was wondering if there was a way to remove this.

Hi
go to /now/nav/ui/classic/params/target/sys_ux_experience_category.do%3Fsys_id%3Dafb4e3e173322010f0ca1e666bf6a726
You should see an entry in the related list "UX Application Category M2M":
Remove that entry. Then logout and login.
Kind regards
Maik

I found a much easier way to remove the workspaces from the banner/ top navigator.
Just click All, type Navi and then click on Unified Navigation Configuration.
There you see the top navigation items and you just have to set workspaces to false and it will no longer appear in the top navigation. You can also remove even more or even add new items.
Just as simple like that.

The menu is not modifiable as Security prevented modifying it in Tokyo, so i had to use background to disable, the same applied to the Admin Menu....

FYI - method I just used (upgraded to Vancouver this weekend and moved my itil staff to the Next UI. This menu is tied to the role workspace_user which is nested into itil from agent workspace role. I've decided to remove the workspace_user role from the nesting (removed it from agentworkspace role and then added it to the visible rule for the Unified Navigation Menu Configuration for the Workspace menu (easier to find if you type this in, you will see the 5 menus where you can drill in and adjust the visible/hidden role associations).
Hope this helps, Cheers.
