I cannot see Connection Alias attributes as datapills in Flow Designer [REST Step]

I have followed the instructions here:

https://docs.servicenow.com/bundle/newyork-servicenow-platform/page/product/credentials/task/create-connection-attributes.html

(this is while conducting the creator con lab here: https://developer.servicenow.com/app.do#!/event/creatorcon18/CCW0468/creatorcon_18_CCW0468_configure... )

But the new attributes are not appearing in flow no matter what i do.  All i see is a credential value pill

(I've confirmed that everything is within the scoped application, and as a last resort i tried replicating everything in Global just in case it was a scoping issue with the attribute, but no, it wasn't that).

I've followed all the instructions strictly, but still no attribute availability in Flow Designer. I'm not sure what is wrong.

Hi everyone,
I had the same problem, this turned out to be the solution:

1) Clear the Connection Alias select box (or select different one) in the REST Step > Connection Details.
2) Select again your desired Connection Alias - all the connection attributes should now be loaded.

Let me know if it works for you.

Btw., it is super inconvenient if you already have some attributes mapped in your REST step, because all these mappings are cleared too and you have to remap everything.

Cheers,
Jan
