Hello All,
I have a few interview questions. Could someone please provide answers to them?
Questions:
1. Explain what is CI lookup role, How can we make it more efficient with less hardware?
2. How can we reduce unmatched data when an integration exists but data is not matching?
3. Use of classification rules, where can they be used, and how can they be applied?
4. What to do when CI data is not being received despite proper integration setup?
5. What is the difference between deferred and exception rules?
7. How would you migrate data from a non-cloud instance to a cloud instance?
Scenario based questions:
1.if an ATM task has a comment update, it triggers an update on the catalog task. If I enter a comment or work note (without any specific field changes), it should be copied over. This causes a loop, where the same comment gets updated in the catalog task repeatedly. How would you prevent this loop from occurring? The business rule (BR) is triggering repeatedly.
2. We previously had a non-cloud instance, but now we have migrated to a cloud instance. We have a group data instance. What approach should we take to fetch data from the group? For example, if there are one million data entries in the same instance, how should we efficiently fetch and match the data?
3. We have an integration with 1,000 to 50,000 groups in a single instance. Each instance contains 1,000 records, and we need to migrate these 1,000 records to another instance. The migration should move from the on-premise setup to the cloud. We need to figure out the best approach for migrating the data.
4. We have a scripting function, and we want to call a function (like ABC) within a Script Include that can be used both from the client side and the server side. Why can't we use the same Script Include to call functions from both the client-side and server-side scripts?
5. How does auto-rotation work in authentication? If we are implementing the entire authentication structure with AWS and handshaking with OAuth, how would the integration be implemented? How is the refresh token maintained in the instance, and where are these tokens stored in the ServiceNow application?
