Is Dark Mode available for ALL of the platform, not just navigation menus?

Dark Mode?

I've seen several Q/A on this, but can't seem to find the answer I'm looking for...yet!

Is there a way to apply Dark Mode to the whole Platform? When trying to use Themes it only does the Top Nav and Filter Nav, but not the main window.

I wasn't able to find the CSS to modify the main menu...like Lists and objects/table items.

I tried using the Chrome extension Dark Mode for ServiceNow, but not able to get it to work.

It sure would be nice if ServiceNow offered something like Microsoft where you can easily switch the themes on the whole screen, not just the navs.

Thanks,
Jason

Hi Jason

I also tried to find one but I was only able to find the above link that you shared. I hope there might be something coming up in future.

Hi Jason

If you are using Chrome you can force the dark mode. It works pretty well for ServiceNow.

See SamSepiol reply here:

Dark Theme - Developer Community - Question - ServiceNow Community

MS Edge support that as well:

edge://flags/#enable-force-dark

Hi Jason,

I was just nosing around looking for a ServiceNow-based dark mode solution and stumbled on this. If it helps, I've been using the Dark Reader browser extension for a while now. It does slow down load times by a few seconds (maybe only a few milliseconds) but it does a great job. It's customizable too--great UI w/ more options than just full dark mode, like Sepia tones, etc. And there are versions for Firefox and its offshoots, so if you (like me) abhor the evil Google and Microsoft corporations you don't have to use their garbage to use this extension. 🙂

Thank you for the great feedback on dark reader!! I was able to get it to work great on the platform but we need to utilize it on agent workspace and didn't have much luck. Did anyone get it to display correctly using agent workspace?
